Meet Alissa Mazzenga, LCPC, LMHC
I'm a licensed counselor in Illinois and Washington State, specializing in trauma-informed, attachment-based, and relationally psychodynamic therapy and EMDR.
My work is focused on helping people identify and engage with the root of their struggles — to not simply experience temporary symptom relief, but full, lasting freedom.
I'm passionate about offering a therapy space that feels real, relational, and restorative — a space where all parts of you are welcome.

Individual Therapy
Weekly or biweekly therapy for insight, healing, and growth. A warm, relational space to feel supported, gain insight, gain tools and resources, and explore what’s no longer working.
Individual Therapy + EMDR
Weekly or biweekly therapy with integrated EMDR, an evidence based method to help process trauma, anxiety, or negative beliefs. Especially helpful when traditional talk therapy hasn’t brought relief.
EMDR Intensives
Extended format EMDR sessions, for 3-4 hours at a time. Ideal for those who want focused support over a shorter timeframe, or are unable to commit to regular sessions. Designed to go deeper, sooner.
